Why You Want This
Monthly is the test. Annual is the verdict.
If you are on this page, you have likely already been monthly for long enough to know the library is real, the drops are consistent, and the storefront discount earns back the subscription on roughly two purchases a year. The annual is for the member who has done that math and stopped running it every month.
Seventy-nine dollars, billed once, covers twelve months. Compared with monthly — nine times twelve, or one hundred eight dollars — you save twenty-nine dollars, which is exactly the price of the Base Ordination. We considered that. We priced it deliberately. You can look at the annual savings as a free Base Ordination, gifted to you for committing, and we would encourage you to.
On top of the cost structure, annual members receive priority access to every new drop — seventy-two hours ahead of monthly — and a private annual-only badge issued on the anniversary of your signup. The anniversary badge is inventory-tracked: we issue one per member per year, it is dated, and it accumulates. Members with three or four annual anniversary badges are, visibly, members with tenure. That is by design. Tenure is a credential in its own right.
You also keep every benefit of monthly — 10% storefront discount, full library access, alumni registry entry on cancellation — with no reduction.
Per Arduum ad Assholum: at the annual tier, you are no longer deciding month to month whether to renew. The decision has been made. The annual is the artifact of a decision that was going to be made anyway. Two free months is what you get for making it in advance.
What You Actually Get
- Twelve months of Inner Circle access for the price of ten
- Seventy-two hour early access to every new drop, ahead of monthly members
- Annual anniversary badge — dated, one-per-year, stackable across multiple years
- Full Inner Circle library access — hundreds of credentials and counting
- 10% storefront discount — same rate as monthly, stacks across the full year
- Alumni registry entry persists post-cancellation, annotated as 'Annual Alum'
Common Objections
Is it worth it if I barely use Monthly?
If you are barely using Monthly, the annual is the wrong tier. Stay monthly and re-evaluate. The annual is priced for people who have already concluded the membership is worth it and are tired of being billed about it.
Can I cancel mid-year and get a partial refund?
No — the annual is a single upfront payment. The thirty-day refund window (see guarantee) is the only return path. After thirty days, the subscription runs for the full twelve months.
Does the annual include everything monthly gets?
Everything, plus the seventy-two-hour early access and the anniversary badge. No benefits are removed.
Will the price go up?
Possibly. Annual members are locked at the price they signed up at for as long as they remain continuously subscribed. New annual members after a price change pay the new price; you pay the old one.
Questions the Registrar Is Tired Of
When do I get the anniversary badge?
On the anniversary of your signup, exactly — the drop is scheduled by registrar cron. The badge is dated with the year of issue.
Do anniversary badges stack?
Yes. Members in their fourth year hold four distinct anniversary badges, each dated. The visual treatment gets progressively more ornate; the fifth-year badge introduces gold foil.
Can I switch from monthly to annual mid-cycle?
Yes — we prorate the remaining monthly time against the annual charge and start the annual on the day of the switch.
Does the 10% discount apply to this annual membership?
No — the discount applies to storefront purchases (degrees, ordinations, merch, coaching), not to memberships.
Refunds?
Thirty-day refund window — longer than the standard seven — because the annual is a larger commitment and we want you to have time to decide it fits.
From the Faculty Lounge
Upgraded after my fourth Monthly renewal. Did the math once. Have not done it since. Got back two months of my life in decision fatigue.
The anniversary badge is the single stupidest thing I have ever been proud of. I have three of them.
Thirty-day refund on the annual, full amount, no survey. After thirty days the subscription runs its full twelve months — but the anniversary badge, once issued, is yours permanently.
